Abstract
[Machine translation] The work on autobiography makes it possible to identify the subversive force that belongs to it: the dynamics and paradoxes to which the self-story gives rise to debunk the myth of an alleged Power of the Ego that writes about itself. The weakening action begins at the very moment in which the subject places himself at the center and opens up to a new work of self-understanding, in which it is possible to follow the therapeutic profile of autobiographical writing. All the concepts that characterize autobiographical writing are questioned again here, to discover that the acquired awareness is that of one's own inappropriate one and that the cure is that of the illusion of a self-centered and absolute self. In this self-work, the relationship with one's illness is also presented. For this reason, autobiography is presented as an effective tool for self-care and for understanding by those who work in the context of helping relationships.
