Abstract
[Machine translation] The expression kathestekyia time is the subject of different interpretations between those who consider it a market price and those who see it as a fixed price. Based on a passage from the Against Dionysodorus of Demosthenes, where the expression undoubtedly indicates a market price, it is perhaps possible to propose the same interpretation for the passage of the Contro Formione where, however, to understand it as a market price, a textual amendment is necessary.
