Abstract
This article analyses the EU cybersecurity legal framework and examines the legal rules of innovative procurement, highlighting the advantages of using these tender procedures to fully apply cybersecurity’s basic legal principles, particularly in relation to implementing collaboration between public and private entities in this sector. Among the different innovative procurement procedures, the article focuses specifically on innovative partnership, as it is a tool designed to combine a collaborative approach between contracting authorities and technology providers, able to significantly reduce the negative impact related to the lock-in effect.
