Abstract
With transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) we have studied 19 untreated patients affected by partial epilepsy. A subgroup of 7 patients showed a reduction of intracortical inhibition in one or both hemispheres (p<0.01). We did not find any correlation between our neurophysiological data and patient's clinical-EEG variables.
