Abstract
After an anatomical and physiopathological exposure of the function of the scoliotic thorax, authors use the different parameters of lung function examination and find that already in children the restrictive syndrome and sometimes also obstructive diminution of function is present. So that systematic physiokinesitherapy is necessary to forecome an irreversible situation, that may end in a cor pulmonale. Scoliotic children belong not only to the orthopedic surgeon, but also to the pulmonologist.
