Abstract
[Machine translation] This article analyzes the impact of the new regulation (EU) 2024/1143 on the regulation of packaging quality agri-food products (with particular attention to the wine sector) through the lens of decision-making autonomy and the discretion of producer groups in the choices to adapt the regulations to the new requirements of sustainability. In particular, some misconceptions are reported in the text of the standard, probably due to the difficulty of coordinating new needs and the traditional system of the enhancement and protection of PDO - PGI products, suggesting some criteria for reading the discipline and the consequent solutions that could be given to the emergence of any conflicts within the production chain. , This article examines the impact of the new Regulation (EU) 2024/1143 on the rules governing the packaging of high-quality agri-food products (with particular focus on the wine sector) through the lens of decision-making autonomy and the discretion of producer groups in adapting product specifications to the new sustainability requirements. The paper highlights, in particular, certain inconsistencies in the wording of the regulation, likely stemming from the challenge of reconciling these new requirements with the traditional framework for the promotion and protection of PDO and PGI products.
