The discussion, conducted in typical ways of the round table, aroused a lot of interest not only because it was the first opportunity for discussion between journals in the sector, but also because it allowed a critical reinterpretation of the function that they have interpreted over time, in relation to changes in social policies and the different configurations of Welfare. Coordinated by Elena Allegri, the debate was developed by Paolo Zurla of Local Autonomies, and Social Services; Marilena Dellavalle from The Social Service Magazine; Ugo De Ambrogio from Social and Health Perspectives; Francesca Gatto from Social Work and Franco Floris from Social Animation. Particularly interesting was the location of the debate, that is, at the end of the first module of the training course for supervisors, of social work internship. This is a course divided into three consecutive modules, for a total of eleven days of teaching, from 2019 to 2020, whose organization was curated by the scientific committee composed of representatives of the University of Turin, the University of Eastern Piedmont and the Order of Social Workers of Piedmont. A very significant result in itself, considering that the collaboration of the three promoting bodies has its roots in a territory favorable to comparison and collaboration, however, nothing can be taken for granted. In fact, it is one thing to organize a training course in which each organization takes care of a part independently, it is another thing to build a synergy useful for building a common path.
