Abstract
[Machine translation] The contribution examines, with a summary view, the situation of monasteries in the eleventh century in Europe, choosing a specific angle: that of material structures, of the organization, management and uses of monastic spaces and of the relationship of monastic bodies with more or less large territories of reference. The mechanisms underlying continuity, resumption and innovation compared to the previous time are analyzed, through a wide range of case studies.
