Abstract
[Machine translation] The essay is intended to constitute a first contribution on the biographical events of Piedmontese leaflets who passed through the difficult season of the Jacobin three-year period and then of the Napoleonic fifteen years. The analysis of the names present in the lists of Piedmontese revolutionaries, crossed with that of the Jacobin priests arrested in 1799 and locked up in the fortress of Verrua Savoia, has made it possible to identify 16 leaflets that - for various reasons - adhered to the ideals of the French Revolution, distributed in all the main monasteries of the congregation: the Consulate in Turin, Novalesa, Abbadia Alpina, Testona, Vicoforte and Asti. In particular, the active involvement in the management of the revolutionary municipality of Moncalieri by a large group of monks — consisting of five leaflets — of the monastery of Santa Maria di Testona has been reconstructed.
