Therefore, it is fundamental to understand how religious events may become a key component of local tourism development through the analysis of their management process. The research was conducted on two case studies in the province of Biella (northern Italy): the Devotional and Cultural Tourism Exchange of Oropa and the Passion Play of Sordevolo.
