Abstract
In this paper, experimental results concerning the measurement of the viscosity field Hv acting on the Bloch walls in the amorphous alloys Metglas 2605 SC and CO are presented. Measurements were done at different temperatures in the range 20-250°C and cover about four decades of time intervals, from 10-3 to 8 s. Values of Hv up to 3·5 Am-1 have been obtained at the highest temperature. The set of curves of H, against time are relative to reversible diffusional processes and are intended to be used for an accurate testing of the theories of the after-effect phenomena in amorphous ferromagnets.
