Abstract
[Machine translation] The authors think about the link between lockdown and urban pollution and, based on data relating to Milan and Turin, show that during this prolonged lockdown there was a moderate reduction of only one of the pollutants most dangerous to our health. From this, the authors deduce that in order to face global emergencies, such as pandemics, pollution and climate change, programmatic measures are necessary to be implemented with courage for long periods of time.
