Abstract
[Machine translation] The contribution presents the results of recent research conducted on the monasteries of San Genuario di Lucedio and Santa Eufemia in Tortona, both of which were founded in the early medieval period. Through the examination of written, cartographic and material sources, a picture of the construction events of the two monastic complexes is proposed, in particular following the stratigraphic analysis of the walls, currently dating, in both cases, starting from the Romanesque Age.
