Abstract

Recently reversible erectile dysfunction due to the possible effect of Topiramate on reproductive hormones has been reported. We described an epileptic male patient that experienced a reversible erectile dysfunction during Topiramate treatment. Sexual hormones examination were performed during treatment and several times after drug discontinuation. Topiramate did not influenced sexual hormones plasma levels. Topiramate erectile dysfunctions is a rare reversible side effect not related to changes in reproductive hormones levels.
