Abstract

A short survey on the most important ECtHR decisions (against Italy) on the theme of in absentia trial, and on the impact of those decisions in the municipal jurisdiction. Much attention is paid to the recent statutory reform by l. 67/2014, inspired by the ECtHR jurisprudence indeed.
