Abstract

[Machine translation] The NODES (Digital and Sustainable North West) project aims to develop an integrated system of sustainable and participatory proposals for the revival of tourism in the protected areas of Piedmont, which constitute about 18% of the regional territory. The objectives are to identify cultural ecosystems and thematic clusters and create a model of territorial dialogue, in which stakeholders and communities are involved in the management of proposals for sustainable and integrated tourism. Among the various case studies examined, the Municipality of Chiaverano (TO), on the morainic hill of the Serra and to the SPA of the Five Lakes of Ivrea, represents an example of the reappropriation of natural spaces through participatory cultural practices and participatory and collaborative logic.
