Abstract

[Machine translation] In contemporary society, we often talk about 'creative competence', but it is not easy to understand exactly what it is, due to its many facets. The volume would like to be a compass for a precise path, certainly not the only possible one, in the dense forest of creativity. Chapter after chapter, it presents geographies, stories, practices, models and initiatives that exemplify, clarify, give ideas, open questions. In line with the multiple declinations of creativity, and with the intention of reflecting its breadth and heterogeneity, the text combines parts with different approaches — methodological, empirical, informative — valuing the original talent and creative autonomy of each author and author. To those who read, then, the surprise of discovering the contents and the opportunity to delve page by page into this' fantastic 'world, dedicating a Rodarian thought to it: “Will it go far? Will it make a fortune? Will it right all the wrong things in this world? We don't know [...] We can only wish him, with all our heart: 'Have a good trip! '” (Rodari G., 1962, The Young Shrimp, Fables on the Telephone, Trieste, Einaudi).
