Abstract

[Machine translation] Who are the 'good' parents? With the transformations that have taken place in the field of, reproductive practices and technologies, but also in the socio-economic context, and in the policies that define the constraints surrounding decisions on doing, family, becoming parents is an experience that is increasingly part of the scope, of the choice. All this, together with the centrality assumed by childhood, implies that, Today, parents are considered to be the main responsible for successes and failures, of sons and daughters, and that therefore they must play their role in a way, intensive, dedicating time and resources to it and applying specific skills from, develop with the help of experts, the only ones who, therefore, have the task of, define 'good' parenting. These are the fundamental principles of, parenting culture, which originated in Anglo-Saxon countries in the nineties and always, more influential in public and policy discourse. Starting from these premises, the, volume empirically explores, from a constructivist and gender perspective, the, ways in which 'good parenting' is shaped in our country, putting it, In light of the critical nodes and the basic processes and making the point of view dialogue, experts with that of parents, with the aim of showing convergences,, differences, contradictions and new potentials.
