Abstract

Blood loss after fixation of proximal femur fractures depends on different factors, conditioning hospitalization, early mobilization and complications risk. Blood loss can be influenced by internal fixation technique. The aim of this study was to compare blood loss in patients treated with dynamic hip screw (DHS) or cephalomedullary nail.
