Abstract
[Machine translation] Through a coherent investigation into the translation techniques on which the new idea of tragedy is based in France, between XVI and XVII centuries, this work offers a precise historiographical contextualization of the work of translatio of modern tragedies, based on ancient Greco-Latin models, in order to show some of the structural, formal and semantic paths followed by some French playwrights and poets in a pivotal and fundamental era for the constitution of a modern concept of originality based entirely on even on the notion of fidelity to the ancient world, as well as to Aristotelian theorisations.
