Abstract
A simplified procedure is described for haptoglobin subtyping employing minute amount of serum. It consists of a partial purification of haptoglobin by cellulose-acetate electrophoresis, followed by acidic urea polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of reduced and alkylated samples.
