Abstract

BESIII data show a particular angular distribution for the decay of J/φ and φ(2S) mesons into ΛΛ and Σ ⁰ Σ ⁰ hyperons: the angular distribution of the decay φ(2S) → Σ ⁰ Σ ⁰ exhibits an opposite trend with respect to the other three channels: J/φ → ΛΛ, J/φ → Σ ⁰ Σ ⁰ and φ(2S) → ΛΛ. We define a model to explain the origin of this phenomenon.
