Abstract

BESIII data show a particular angular distribution for the decay of J/φ and φ(2S) mesons into ΛΛ and Σ 0 Σ 0 hyperons: the angular distribution of the decay φ(2S) → Σ 0 Σ 0 exhibits an opposite trend with respect to the other three channels: J/φ → ΛΛ, J/φ → Σ 0 Σ 0 and φ(2S) → ΛΛ. We define a model to explain the origin of this phenomenon.
