Abstract
This article deals with the Atticist lexicon preserved by P.Oxy. 1803. It has twofold aims. On the one hand, it investigates the high number of quotations from Menander, in order to outline the profile of the compiler of this lexicon against the background of Menander’s reception in Atticist lexicography. On the other hand, it focuses on two entries that have received little or no attention after the editio princeps, suggesting new interpretations based on linguistic and lexicographical analysis.
